It's been a sad January with the loss of so many great artists, beginning with the one-and-only David Bowie. As I have been reading through all the heart-felt tributes and seeing image after image of Bowie pop up in my newsfeeds, I came across this quote. And I realized how much it applies to the healing process.
We all have corners in ourselves that need a little digging up and diving in, areas that could use a bit of repair or even deep nourishment. The healing process is inevitably both uncomfortable and exciting. The discomfort is by virtue of the fact that to change means we are entering new territory for ourselves. This is the work we are meant to do here, during our little lifetimes... It's precious work.
Life is short. Turn and face the strange. Go a little further than you feel you're capable. As a practitioner, if you need some support I am always here to help you embody these changes, and reach the heights you're aiming for.
With love and gratitude,
