To me, Spring Equinox is the real "new year" of the year, as opposed to Jan 1st. According to many systems of astrology and also according to Chinese Medicine, spring is the heart of new beginnings. The perfect time to make goals, to plant seeds, to envision where we would like to foster growth in our life.
