Since the original author was listing 13 ways for the year 2013, I've decided to add 3 more ways to bring us up to 2016. So here is my addition to their article, with the ways 14, 15 and 16 that acupuncture can change your life:
14. It will help you achieve your goals. I work with my patients to find out what it is they want to achieve - whether the goal is mental, physical or action oriented. Combining acupuncture with intention can help get you there much faster!
15. It can help you experience less pain. Be the pain physical or emotional, acupuncture works to balance the autonomic nervous system which greatly reduces physical pain on all levels.
16. It can help you feel supported and cared for. I practice not only with my skill and knowledge, but also with my heart. I see myself as a cheerleader for my patients. Going to a clinic and seeing practitioners that you resonate with, you will recognize that you always have support, you are never alone, and that you are part of a community.
